Beach Time
The clean beach and calm waves are ideal for families. When the tide is low, you can walk out 100 yards in water up to your waist. A coral reef approximately 200 yards from shore stretches north and south.
There are frequently turtles swimming close to shore, and if you're here in late Fall to early Spring, the Humpback whales put on quite a show. |
Mornings are typically calm and ideal for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing. If the wind comes up in the afternoon, it's time to windsurf, kite-surf, and practice surfing on the small waves.
This is a great spot to try all kinds of water sports - if you fall, you can typically stand and touch the bottom. |
